Galaxy Xtreme Tuner

Galaxy Xtreme Tuner – this utility works in the Windows environment and allows you to track all the necessary information in one window, and the necessary parameters, such as core frequencies, shader domain, video memory, frequencies fan rotation, change within a fairly wide range. For some, the function of backing up the BIOS of a video card will be interesting, without fear of rendering the accelerator unusable.

Xtreme Tuner Temperature Monitoring:

Galaxy Xtreme Tuner  provides real-time monitoring of your graphics card’s temperature. It’s important to monitor your graphics card’s temperature while overclocking or gaming to prevent overheating and reduce the risk of damage.

Here are the instructions for monitoring temperature using the Galaxy Xtreme Tuner:

  • Launch Galaxy Xtreme Tuner and go to the “Temperature” section.
  • The software will display the temperature of your graphics card in real time.
  • Monitor temperatures while overclocking or gaming to ensure they do not exceed safe levels.

Xtreme Tuner interface instructions

When you launch Galaxy Xtreme Tuner for the first time, you will see the main interface of the software. It is divided into several sections, each of which provides different features and settings. Let’s look at each section:

  • GPU frequency: In this section, you can adjust the clock speed of your GPU. You can use the sliders to increase or decrease the clock speed. You can also adjust your GPU voltage using this section.
  • Memory clock speed: In this section, you can adjust the clock speed of your GPU. You can use the sliders to increase or decrease the memory clock speed. You can also adjust your memory voltage using this section.
  • Fan control: In this section, you can adjust the fan speed of your video card. You can use the sliders to increase or decrease the fan speed. You can also set a custom fan curve using this section.
  • Temperature: This section displays the temperature of your video card. With this section you can monitor the temperature in real time.
  • Overclocking profile: In this section you can create and save custom overclocking profiles. You can create a profile for different games or applications and switch between them according to your requirements.

Overclocking Xtreme Tuner:

Now that you are familiar with the Galaxy Xtreme Tuner interface, let’s move on to overclocking your graphics card.

Overclocking is the process of increasing the clock speed and memory capacity of your graphics card to improve performance. However, overclocking can also cause your graphics card to overheat and shorten its lifespan. Therefore, it is extremely important to be careful when overclocking your graphics card.

Here are the steps to overclock your graphics card using Galaxy Xtreme Tuner:

  • Launch Galaxy Xtreme Tuner and go to the GPU Clock section.
  • Use the sliders to increase the GPU clock speed by small amounts, such as 10 MHz.
  • Click “Apply” to save the changes.
  • Go to the Memory Clock section and repeat the same process to increase the memory clock speed.
  • Monitor the temperature of your video card using the “Temperature” section. If the temperature is too high, reduce the clock speed to lower the temperature.
  • Check your overclock stability using tools like FurMark or Unigine Heaven. Run the test for at least 10 minutes to ensure stability.
  • If the test succeeds, increase the clock speed and memory by another small amount, such as 5 MHz.
  • Repeat steps 5-7 until you find the most stable clock speed and memory size for your video card.
  • Once you have established a stable clock speed and memory size, save your settings using the overclocking profile section. You can create multiple profiles for different games or applications.
  • Finally, test your overclocked graphics card in real-life scenarios by playing games or running heavy applications. If you encounter any stability issues or crashes, reduce the clock speed and memory until you find stable settings.

Xtreme Tuner cooler management

Besides overclocking, you can also use the Galaxy Xtreme Tuner to adjust the fan speed of your graphics card. Higher fan speed means better cooling for your graphics card, which can improve performance and extend its lifespan. However, higher fan speeds can also increase noise levels.

Here are the instructions for adjusting the fan speed using the Galaxy Xtreme Tuner:

  • Launch Galaxy Xtreme Tuner and go to the fan control section.
  • Use the sliders to increase or decrease the fan speed to suit your requirements. You can also set a custom cooler rotation curve by clicking on the “Custom” button.
  • Click “Apply” to save the changes.
